Welcome to Made in Melbourne Film Festival

The Made In Melbourne Film Festival is an exclusive showcase for Melbourne filmmakers and short films that are 'Made in Melbourne'. The festival celebrates the desire, drive, and diversity of our local film community by screening the very best short films Melbourne has to offer.

The 2009 Festival was a blast.  Held on December 1st at the gorgeous Loop Bar in the city, the inaugural Made In Melbourne Film Festival screened some fantastic local films in front of a big audience and helped raise money and awareness for Secondbite; a charity the sources nutritious food for the homeless and disadvantaged.

Thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who helped launch the festival. Thank you to our fantastic sponsors for the prizes and support.  And most of all, thank you to the filmmakers for the great films, and big congratulations to the winners:
